Details of my first composition for Birmingham Contemporary Music Group as part of my SAM residency have just been announced. The composition entitled Rückstände will be performed in a concert featuring works by Iannis Xenakis, Howard Skempton, Phillip Cashian and Tansy Davies. I’m very much looking forward to it! Seán Clancy named BCMG/Sound and Music apprentice composer in residence

Contrafactum to be diffused in Birmingham
My acousmatic piece contrafactum is to be diffused live via the Recital Hall’s 24 channel surround speaker system as part of the first Birmingham Conservatoire legacies in technology concert on 25 October 2010. This concert takes place in the Recital hall, Birmingham Conservatoire, and will also feature classic work from the electroacoustic repertoire.
